About the role

As a Business Analyst, you will support site-level statutory and reporting activities by preparing financial analysis in your area of responsibility. Under the guidance of the Chief Accountant, you will provide relevant data and insights to support the Controlling team’s recommendations to the business. This may include financial analysis for site functions, balance sheet account analysis, statistical reporting, or managing invoices and civil contracts.

You will be the subject matter expert and the trusted point of contact for technical issues. You may also use your expertise to lead or contribute to special projects.

Your core deliverables will include:

  • Supporting end-to-end accounting activities, making sure all tasks are completed on time
  • Prepare accounts reconciliations
  • Handle Fixed Assets Accounting, ensuring compliance with local and accounting rules.  subledgers)
  • Conduct financial controls and audits including data analysis and documentation of results
  • Support external and regulatory reporting, such as tax and statistical reporting
  • Coordinate data collection and manage queries about civil agreements, invoices and payments
  • Assist with preparing year-end audit files and internal audits
  • Support Financial Controller with the implementation of global finance projects in local market
  • Support master data creation (eg. review of vendor account requests)
  • Handle activities to civil contracts, employee clearance form, finance correspondence, managing access requests to finance systems, archiving bank statements, and other administrative tasks
  • Work with the back office team on transactional activities

Essential for the role

  • Polish and English Language proficiency
  • At least 2 years of experience in R2R, controlling or finance
  • Good computer skills, including SAP & Excel skills
  • Ability to solve problems, consider options and propose solution
